When you support Birthday Angels, you are supporting a whole network of mentoring organizations dedicated to make the lives of many underprivileged children, better.

The cost and burden involved in celebrating birthday parties for these children, often limits the organization's ability to address what our beautiful and brilliantly conceived Party Kits do so simply and effectively.

Birthday Angels collaborates with all these mentoring organizations, providing them with what they need to give their kids what every child deserves: To celebrate their being in the world!

How does it work?

These mentoring organizations have the human resources: They have targeted the kids and the volunteer entertainers.

Birthday Angels supplies them with a solution that requires:

• No costs - to the mentor or the organization.

• No training - The user friendly instructions are printed right on the games so that anyone can do it!

• No schlepping - The kit contains posters, a disc, stickers and flags and doesn't weight more than a pound.

• No preparation - The kit comes complete with all the materials ready to use. We've already done the planning, designing and preparations right down to the party music! Just separate the pieces along the perforated lines, hang the flags and poster-games and you're ready to go!

I would like to bring to your attention that this year we ran the Birthday Angels Birthday Party Project in the "Zayit" and "Calanit" Youth Centers.

The initiative of Raya, Director of Elementary Scools and Dalya Ratzon, National Coordinator of AMEN, whose youth volunteers learned how to give birthday parties.

These youth volunteers received a list of the birthdays of the children in our youth centers.
Before each birthday they meet with the Birthday Child to prepare the party. On the day of the party they come with the Birthday Angels Party Kit and celebrate along with all the children who participate and give the Birthday Child all the attention and doting humanly possible.

The third time they get together they process their feelings about the party and what it has meant to them.This is an amazing project for the teenage volunteers who bring joy and happiness to children who can't always celebrate their special day properly.

I would like to praise all those who have a part in this project and look forward to our continued cooperation.
